Introducing: Your Pics

In 2016, I drew more, painted more and told more visual stories than I ever have before, but I felt something was missing. As a memoirist, and a storytelling teacher, I should have known immediately what it was: Your Voice.

While telling your story as a photographic journalist gives me joy and gives you a new and beautiful view of your world and what you love, the most important voice in your story is yours. The most important view in your life? Your own.

Not everyone has a decade of experience in photoshop, and most people I've met don't want to spend hours upon hours learning the nitty-gritty techie details of how to polish pictures, or spend months drawing perfect circles to prepare to draw the curve of their cheekbone on canvas.

But, even though I can't see who is reading this right now, I can bet you, yes you, are already telling your story.

You're taking a ton of pictures. You're filling up your phone, your hard drive, and maybe even your drawer and walls. But, maybe there are things you love, that you don't think are shining as much as they could, or things you feel you can't share because, while you love them, they aren't flattering. Or, maybe, you don't know how to paint or draw and would like to collaborate with me to create original art for your walls as a collaborating artist.

I've offered my editing and design services for years to literary brands, universities and local businesses. But, starting in 2017, I'm offering all my photographic expertise and all my paints, pens, and brushes to your brand of you.

Let's make something together; let me help you tell your story the way you want it told.
